Ashley
Ashley was the smartest dog I’ve ever had the privilege to know and own. She had a huge command of the English language...so much so that we had to literally spell things in front of her so she wouldn’t know what we were saying. And even then, she often surprised us by her reactions...she always knew! Ashley was incredibly loyal, and only loved four people...my sister, myself, my mom and my dad. And one dog, her younger "sister", Sammi. http://www.shermanstudios.com/ashley.htm
Punim
Punim was one of the best companions a person could ever ask for...canine, human or otherwise! Despite the fact that she was always getting into some mischief...whether it was taking my socks out into the kennel, or getting into a 16 oz. box of Whitman’s Chocolates...she had more sensitivity and grace than any living being I have ever known. Throughout her long, 14-year life, she never lost the passion for playing with her toys. I suppose that's one thing that kept her young for so long. But 14 years wasn't long enough...I miss you, Puny! http://www.shermanstudios.com/punimworld.htm
Patches
Patches always will hold a special place in my thoughts and memories. She was rescued by my niece in 1985 from a patron at McDonald’s who said he was going to drown this pup if no one wanted her. My other dogs welcomed Patches into our home where she enjoyed a happy life for 13 years. She was the most lovable dog I had ever owned. Full of mischief, she was eager to run and enjoyed having me chase her. Her death in 1998 was especially difficult for me because she was the last of my pets and she died just five months after my mother died. This January 2004 I welcomed another dog into my life that I adopted from the Humane Society of Missouri. Patches would have liked her.
Jokey
Jokey let us be his owners until the ripe old age of 17 years, when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We first met Jokey when he was about 3 weeks old, he was born under my father-in-law's trailer and the "wimp" of the litter. He had a sister and a brother. He grew into a little dog that thought he was Rottwiler inside! His dad was a Welsch-Corgi and his mom was a cinnamon brown long-haired Dachshund. He loved his car rides with his head stuck out the window and his floppy ears flopping like "The Flying Nun's hat". He was our best friend and a super great companion, we miss him greatly everyday.
Snowey
We first laid eyes on Snowy when she was a scared stray kitten hiding under a car by a busy street meowing pitifully at us. We were blessed with her feline presence in our household for 9 long years before she met an untimely death and we miss her very, very much each and every day. She brought Snowy-isms to our lives, woa be it to the one whom closed doors in the house, all bags and boxes were subject to her inspection and ultimate approval and when she could no longer be the master toilet paper shredder-upper (because of getting de-clawed) she learned to use her teeth! Snowy was a talker and a greeter. She would greet you at the door and the talking would begin, as if she had to tell you what SHE did that day! Snowy lived her life with Jokey (whom is also on this Tribute page) and now they have both crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and are keeping each other company until someday we get to see them again…….
oreo
Oreo was the sweetest and most sensitive rabbit that I was so blessed to have in my life. He loved to cuddle with me and tried to cuddle with my cat, Patches. He loved to lick my face and nuzzle my neck. He had such a beautiful soul and whenever I held him and stroked him we both felt like we were in our own little world of warmth and love. I loved him so, so much and I will love him forever. I know he is always around me and I know we will be together again some day. I miss you and I love you, Oreo
